Hi! I’m Meisy Ortega, owner and founder of OMG Homes & Co. A small, family-run business born from my own journey of creating homes I love.

It began with my first house, followed by a second home in Tahoe. I remodeled both, and what started as a personal project quickly became something I truly enjoy. Along the way, I realized most people don’t like remodeling. They find it overwhelming, confusing, and costly. For me, it’s the opposite.

In California, homes are expensive, and “turnkey” properties often come with a significant premium but rarely reflect your lifestyle. I believe in spending where it matters, skipping what doesn’t, and creating spaces that feel personal, intentional, and smart.

Having gone through this process multiple times, I know how to avoid common cost traps, find quality materials at fair prices, and keep projects efficient with your best interests at the center. I work with trusted agents, contractors, and lenders, but my role is to be your independent advocate, not a salesperson.

With a background in data science and engineering, I bring structure, strategy, and clear communication to every step of the process. I’ve bought and remodeled multiple Tahoe properties, and I know where the real opportunities are.

OMG Homes & Co. grew out of that passion. Every project receives the same care I’d give to my own home, guiding you through the buying, remodeling, and setup process so that the experience feels clear and intentional, not stressful.
